OT: Alexa joined the angels today
got to work at 745-got the call at 8 am that she had passed at 4 am.
our hearts are heavy --yet it is so good to know she is not in any pain...11 years old with cancer for more than 3 years is not right...
thanks for listening....
edit:
ya know- i never met alexa but i have met nan's morgan and these kids-and connie's nic--they make all of our problems seem so small...and the love they exude..the honesty and the innocence...the determination...the peace....following this journey of alexa's has taught me alot....

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

thanx-we are all worried about her mom--dad (boss) will bury himself in work and sis abby will go back to teaching, sis amanda hopefully goes back to nursing school and brother ethan is in high school-but mom lost her own mother after being primary care for 3 years JUST before alexa's cancer was diagnosed--so mom has been care giver for over 6 years and now has nothing to do--if ya understand-i'm sure you do!

Margo....this is so sad. We knew it was coming but none the less it is a tragedy.
No child should ever have to suffer this way.
God Bless you Alexa and all your family. My heart is breaking. She was a STAR...she fought hard. Now she is free of pain and in a much better place then we can even imagine.
Thanks for posting this Margo. I read the post on Alexa's site this morning and have been sad all day.
Love you my friend...hugs....connie d
